Media & Campaigning
Our campaigning work aims to
- Ensure that more people with cardiomyopathy are diagnosed quickly
- Improve access to quality treatment
- Ensure that the mental health needs of people with cardiomyopathy are met
We do this by
National Advocacy: We work in partnership with other charities, healthcare associations and stakeholders to highlight the needs of people with cardiomyopathy to the Government, NHS and healthcare commissioners.
Local improvement: We bring together local service users, clinicians and commissioners to audit local services for people with cardiomyopathy and investigate practical improvements that could be made.
National awareness: We work to raise the profile of cardiomyopathy so that more people are aware of the signs to look out for and the importance of knowing you heart history.
