Dorset Cardiomyopathy Support Group launched
18th May 2015
Over 40 people attended the first meeting of our Dorset Cardiomyopathy Support Group on Saturday.
The meeting was organised by Cardiomyopathy UK supporters Lorraine May and Gilbert Wheeler, and heart failure nurse specialist Tracey Dare, from Dorset County Hospital NHS Foundation.
Our medical director Robert Hall talked about cardiomyopathy and latest treatments, and gave an update on developments at the charity and our plans for the future.

Dr Michael Watson, a retired GP, reflected on his personal and professional experience of cardiomyopathy, and Gilbert talked about being affected by hypertrophic cardiomyopathy.
The meeting was held at Dorford Centre (Dorchester Baptist Church), Bridport Road, Dorchester, DT1 1RR.
