The trip
You will be travelling a total of 450km by bike across plantations and through villages in the heart of the Mekong Delta of Vietnam and then on into the contrasting dry lands and sights of ancient Cambodia. Here your route will take you off the beaten track into the Mekong properly.
The sight of a group of cyclists is a rare one with locals showing huge interest and hospitality – something that may spur even the most tired cyclist to keep pedalling!
Your final destination on the trip is the town of Siem Reap where you will be able to explore the ancient city of Angkor, which represents one of human-kind’s most astounding architectural accomplishments and is now a UNESCO world heritage site as of 1992; a true spectacle.
