At 5,895m Mt Kilimanjaro is one of the largest volcanoes to break through the Earth’s crust – why not take on the challenge to reach the cloud covered summit for #teamcardio.
Fact file:
"Where do I start?? The most amazing thing I've ever done but defo the hardest physically, mentally and emotionally... Our group were amazing could not have asked for a better group we all bonded so well and saying bye at the airport was soooo hard... These memories will last a lifetime and am so glad I did it" - Dylan Kelly, Kilimanjaro Trekker 2013
The route that you will be taking starts just south of the Kenya-Tanzania border and has been unused for many years but is now open for climbing once again. Experienced guides consider this route to be both more manageable and more beautiful than the main Marangu trail. You will experience temperatures drop overnight and rise during the day with you often looking down onto the clouds.
