The trip
This once in a lifetime trip to Machu Picchu offers a unique way to see the diverse and spectacular scenery as you glimpse a way of Peruvian life that has remained untouched for centuries.
After acclimatising to the high altitude by visiting local Inca ruins! You'll then drive out to the Sacred Valley, from where you will trek over high mountain passes to the Lares Valley. Along the way, you will stop at a local market and see the arguably the best hot springs in southern Peru. Situated at an altitude of 2,667m, the springs offer spectacular views of snowy peaks and glaciers and glacial blue lakes. You will then have some time to explore the ruins at Machu Picchu.
These breath taking ruins are nestled high in the Andes (Peru) between two peaks and are one of the most beautiful and enigmatic ancient sites in the world; a truly inspirational way to fundraise!
