September Steps 2021

We want to get everybody walking, fundraising and feeling good with our September Steps.

Whether you’re walking through woodlands, strolling by the sea or marching up a up mountain, raise funds for Cardiomyopathy UK with September Steps.

What is September Steps?
Walk 10,000 steps a day throughout the month, raising vital funds to support our work. You can complete your steps individually or take part as a group and set a group steps target. We know that everybody is different, so you can also choose your own target that’s right for you. You can get your steps in anyway you like - run, walk, hike, home workouts, dancing around the house in your slippers... the choice is yours.

How to get involved
  • Set up your fundraising page on Just Giving as an individual or a team
  • Use our handy resources to help you fundraise
  • Get walking and spread the word to raise funds

"I wanted to make something positive come out of my diagnosis and so I decided to set myself this challenge. It's also been wonderful and it’s kept me focussed. I have reconnected to music whilst dancing around the lounge again too which has been amazing." Jodie Cordery, 30 Day Challenge to walk 10,000 steps in July.

How we'll support you with your September Steps
  • Free Cardiomyopathy t-shirt
  • Resources to help you track your steps
  • Fundraising tips and advice, including help to set up your fundraising page
  • Regular contact from our fundraising team along the way to keep you motivated for your challenge
However you take part in September Steps, you’ll be raising funds to provide support and information for people affected by cardiomyopathy, campaign for improvements in care and shape research for the future.

Every step and every donation can change the lives of people affected by cardiomyopathy.
