Myocarditis patient and relatives information evening

Royal Brompton Hospital is hosting a myocarditis information day, providing an opportunity to find out more about causes, treatments and possible impact on future health following a diagnosis of myocarditis.

The event takes place from 6-8pm on Wednesday 27 November 2019 in Seminar rooms 1&2, Ground Floor, Royal Brompton Hospital, Sydney Street, SW3 6NP.

The evening will involve:

• What is myocarditis?
• Causes, pathophysiology and risk of recurrence

• Medications used, what do they do?

• Living with myocarditis – Exercise, lifestyle and psychological aspects
• An update on myocarditis research
• Living well with myocarditis – How Cardiomyopathy UK can support you
